VIDEO: Day Three
Tonight I'm tired because I have reading to do and it's late and I ate prawns for lunch. I should not have eaten prawns for lunch. Anyway, I went to a beautiful church this morning, called St. Mary's. I couldn't fin the entrance at first, but then I went round the side, and that was where you were supposed to go in, It was, however, the young married parents' service, et all their tiny children. Then the babies are taken downstairs for some sort of Sunday School, and the service carries on. It was not the sort of church I'm used to, because, first, there were no pews, only chairs, and then, secondly, because it is a very informal service. But the "service" was very sweet and I knew quite a few of the songs - thank you Mum and Body & Soul.

After church I navigated my way onto the tub and to Kate and Christopher's house for lunch with the cousins. Andrew arrived soon after me, and we had a lovely lunch. Kate had made a wonderful salad, which, as later materialised as a slightly unfortunate occurrence, contained prawns. I have discovered that though they taste fine, my stomach doesn't appreciate them one little bit.
Once I'd got back home after lunch, when I was still feeling fine, I decided that rather than encourage claustrophobia by sitting inside, I should go for a run. So I did. I ran in no particular direction, stopping every few steps to take a picture of a gorgeous building or flower or church or scene. Eventually I found myself at Hyde Park, and so I ran around there for a while. There were SO MANY people there. I felt sort of like a race car driving at normal race car speeds on a neighbourhood road full of teenagers learning how to drive. It's not that I was going particularly fast, just everyone else was going particularly slow. They also seem to deliberately drift into the path you're running in, for some contrary reason. But it was a relief to see that Londoners do go slow once in a while!
I came home, again, and ate some supper whilst making my vlog for today, and then I did my reading! It turned out to be a lot more than any of us expected, because we hadn't checked Canvas, the schoolwork/Yale-class-info website. Class starts for real tomorrow, so I'm keeping this short and sweet and heading to bed!
